The vigil will be held at the Butler County Correctional Complex, part of which is contracted to ICE, 705 Hanover Street, Hamilton, OH 45011.The facility is located in close proximity to people’s homes, so we ask that you respect the community as you enter and leave the area.
Limited parking is available on site and street parking is available nearby.
If you’ve reserved a spot on a bus, please arrive at the departure location no later than 6:45p. All bus riders will have to sign a liability waiver prior to boarding.
The bus from Immaculate Conception Church (2300 S. Smithville Rd.) is full but there are still spots available for the bus departing from the UD Campus (P Lot). If you’d like to reserve your spot, please use our RSVP webform.
The event will begin at 8:00pm and end promptly at 9:00pm.
The program will be conducted in both English and Spanish.
Signs are welcome and organizers suggest the messaging maintains a peaceful tone
We ask that you refrain from loud chanting, so as not to alarm either neighbors or inmates.
